Research Assistant

for the project "Screening atrial fibrillation (TARGET-AF)".

Remuneration: E13 TV-L
Job scope: 50 %
Place of employment: Oldenburg (Oldb)
Start of employment: 01.11.2026
Fixed term: until 31.01.2028

Your tasks include:

• Recruitment of cooperating GP practices and patients
• Support in the implementation and organisation of the TARGET-AF study
• Participation in the initiation of the study and, if necessary, adaptation of the study protocol
• Participation in project meetings and scientific events
• Analysing and processing scientific data
• Publication and presentation of project results
• General organisational and scientific support for the Department of General Medicine

Your qualifications:

• Completed scientific university degree (Master / Diplom (Uni)) in the field of health sciences, human medicine or a related field
• Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Interest in general medical care research

An advantage are

• Experience in the preparation of study protocols and ethics applications
• Experience in primary care or general medicine
• Experience in the recruitment of patients for scientific studies
• Knowledge of project management
• Publication experience
• Basic knowledge of atrial fibrillation and screening procedures
