Childhood stress, psychological well-being, emotions & perspective taking (CAMEO)

Hello and welcome to the CAMEO study!

What we experience in our childhood can often influence us many years later. We are therefore interested in how early experiences - including difficult or stressful ones such as emotional, physical or sexual violence or neglect - are related to our experiences today.

In the study, we are looking at how well people recognise emotions and understand others, how they feel psychologically and how they deal with stress. This also includes how people deal with alcohol, which for some people can play a role in everyday life or in dealing with stress.

Your participation will help us to better understand these relationships. In the long term, this can lead to findings that help to improve support services and strengthen mental health.

Would you like to support us?

Then please get in touch with us! We appreciate your interest in the CAMEO study and will inform you about the process without obligation.
