The training centres for psychotherapy at the University of Oldenburg are organising a casuistry conference under the scientific direction of Dr Joseph Rieforth on Friday and Saturday, 25 and 26 May. The focus will be on casuistry, i.e. the examination of therapeutic processes in individual cases. The training event on the Haarentor campus (ÖCO building, Uhlhornsweg 99c) is aimed at those working in psychotherapy.

At the conference, experienced practitioners will use specific treatment cases to present how they implement scientific theory and methodology and reconcile them with the individual needs of patients. Participants can choose from eleven workshops with different topics.
In the main lecture on Friday evening at 6.30 pm, psychologist, author and publicist Dr Martin Altmeyer will talk about the internet as an identity machine. The conference is accredited by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Psychotherapists with 16 points.
