In our society, people are getting older and the number of chronic illnesses is increasing. As a result, so-called rehabilitative services are playing an increasingly important role in healthcare, such as measures that restore the performance of patients. From July, the C3L - Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg is offering a new eleven-month further education course for nursing staff and professionals from therapeutic professions.
The extra-occupational certificate "Health Manager in Rehabilitation" provides up-to-date knowledge on care processes in rehabilitation. Using scientifically sound methods, participants learn to identify the needs of rehabilitation and to develop and apply new concepts.
Registration is possible from 1 April to 30 June.
The certificate programme consists of seven modules. It is aimed specifically at working people and, thanks to the internet-based management of studies combined with compact attendance phases, allows a high degree of flexibility in the individual design of the course. The continuing education concept is a result of the "Development of part-time study programmes for nursing and health sciences" (PuG) project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The C3L is a nationwide pioneer in advanced scientific training and the establishment of innovative teaching-learning formats.
