Improve your career opportunities in the healthcare sector and qualify for management positions in areas such as rehabilitation, nursing and therapy. With the "Case Management" university certificate, you will acquire the knowledge and skills to successfully manage service processes. You will qualify for case management and care counselling and will be able to develop, apply in practice and evaluate customised care concepts.
Our further education programme is certified by the German Society for Care and Case Management(DGCC), which guarantees lasting quality assurance. Graduates who fulfil the relevant criteria receive a DGCC certificate confirming their qualification as a case manager following a successful examination. Upon graduation, you will also receive proof of qualification for care counselling in accordance with Section 7a SGB XI. We follow the recommendations of the GKV-Spitzenverband.
The programme concludes with the Certificate of Advanced Studies "Case Management: Active Care Management in Healthcare". With this university certificate, you are investing in your academic appointment in the healthcare sector!

- Degree in human sciences and one year of professional experience or Other non-humanities degree following a case-by-case assessment
- Completion of a technical college in the social and healthcare sector and at least three years of professional experience and proof of the acquisition of counselling skills (at least 120 units) or other vocational training in the healthcare or social services sector following a case-by-case assessment

- Acute and rehabilitation clinics, care facilities and outpatient facilities with rehabilitative tasks

What roles does this further education qualify you for?
Participants gain an understanding of the cross-sectoral rehabilitation care process. They are equipped to assess the key elements of the complex care required by those affected and to develop a tailored care programme. Under the guidance of the lecturers, participants will develop into competent professionals who can have a significant impact on the success of rehabilitation for those affected.
How is the programme structured?
The programme consists of four modules totalling 480 teaching units. The ‘Case Management’ and ‘Interprofessional Communication’ modules each run for 30 weeks. The ‘Social Law’ module lasts 22 weeks. Three fireside evenings will provide you with insights into the topics of rehabilitation, participation and care.
