Wanted: Leaders with passion. This is the motto of this year's award ceremony at the "Top 40 under 40" summit organised by Capital magazine. Prof. Dr Anne Paschke, who works as a lecturer on our Master's degree programme in Information Law, is once again among the award winners.
Every year, a jury selects 40 exceptional people for Capital magazine, who must fulfil two basic requirements: they must be under 40 years old and have achieved extraordinary things in the past year. Various categories are formed, such as politics and administration, science and civil society. After Anne Paschke was already one of the "40 under 40" last year, she will be honoured once again on Friday, 17 November 2023 at the Bertelsmann Representative Office in Berlin. This year, the Braunschweig scientist already received the "Young Leaders in GovTech" award from PUBLIC Germany. In 2021, she was the only German to be included in the World Economic Forum's "Agile50" list. For many years, the IT lawyer has been committed to sustainable, fair and equitable digitalisation that benefits everyone.
"I'm delighted to receive this award," said Prof Paschke, "I didn't expect to be voted into the TOP 40 under 40 again". The 35-year-old constitutional law expert added that this was, of course, a tribute to her commitment and at the same time a credit to her entire team, who have kept her back free for her voluntary work in practice. In September 2023, she was elected to the board of the German IT Court Conference, where she is particularly committed to improving digital access to the law.
