New specialists for the energy transition
Further education programme on hydrogen launched
The extra-occupational further education programme "Hydrogen for subjects and managers" has met with a great response: the joint programme of the C3L - Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg, Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES as scientific partner is fully booked with 24 participants. The kick-off seminar for the six-month further education programme will take place in Hanover from tomorrow. The sponsors of the programme - the Hanover region, the city of Oldenburg and the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) - want to use their investment to drive forward the development of hydrogen projects in the north-west.
In the new further education programme, participants will learn how to assess, initiate and manage hydrogen projects. They will be prepared for the complex challenges of the sector by key players in the hydrogen economy in a research and practice-oriented manner. The focus is on project work in which participants work in interdisciplinary teams to realistically plan and calculate a hydrogen project. The further education programme will end in February 2023 with a final seminar in Oldenburg, where participants will receive a Certificate of Advanced Studies.
The numerous cooperation partners include the Energy Research Centre of Lower Saxony (efzn) and the Oldenburg Energy Cluster (OLEC). The project partners will be offering a second round of further education from March 2023 and registrations are already open.
