Hydrogen for specialists and managers
How do we clear the hurdles out of the way?
Green hydrogen and its derivatives are seen as key building blocks for the defossilisation of energy-intensive sectors of the economy: In aviation and shipping as well as in the transformation of cross-sector energy systems. H2 also plays a central role in security of supply. In addition to its impact on climate policy, hydrogen also offers numerous industrial policy opportunities for the equipment industry.
Much of the groundwork has been laid for the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy - but development currently seems to be stalling. The reasons for this so-called Hydrogen Implementation Gap are complex. The long-term benefits of green hydrogen are clearly recognised, but the regulatory implementation leads to numerous uncertainties at both European and national level.
In the Strategy Forum, experts Prof. Richard Hanke-Rauschenbach, who has been researching H2 nationally and internationally for 25 years, and experienced H2 market strategist Dr Geert Tjarks will analyse the situation of the hydrogen economy. In this interactive format, they will discuss possible strategies for the ramp-up together with the participants.
