Employees in science and research are faced with changing requirements due to structural developments in universities and non-university research institutions: Questions of strategic planning and control of research processes, programme management, the efficient and effective use of acquired funds and the sustainable transfer of research results into practice are becoming increasingly important. What is needed is professionalisation in research and innovation management with a focus on sustainability and the transfer of research results.
In this certificate programme, (prospective) research managers learn to recognise the interfaces between research, innovation and entrepreneurship, among other things, and to shape the transfer. In five modules, students develop an understanding of different areas of work in science, research, business and society in order to be able to act in a professional and compatible manner in research/science management. The aim is to effectively transfer findings and research results into business and society.
Thanks to its modular structure and few attendance dates, the programme is aimed specifically at professionals and offers the opportunity to take individual qualification goals into account.
