Diakonisches Werk awards two scholarships

The next round of the extra-occupational further education programme "Psychosocial Action (PSH) in Youth Welfare" at the C3L - Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg starts in October. As a co-operation partner, the Diakonisches Werk is awarding two scholarships for which interested parties can apply. The programme is aimed at young professionals in youth welfare as well as those with professional experience or a Bachelor's degree in the social and health sector. Applications for the programme can be submitted until the end of August.

The further education programme focuses on preventative and intervention-oriented cooperation with children, young people, parents and other caregivers. Within eighteen months, participants will be able to apply systemic therapy and counselling in order to meet the challenges in their professional field in a professional manner.

The C3L has developed the programme under the scientific direction of Dr Joseph Rieforth in co-operation with the Diakonisches Werk der Ev.-Luth. Kirche in Oldenburg e.V. (Diaconal Work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oldenburg). After completing further education, it is possible, under certain conditions, to transfer to the C3L's contact courses "Systemic Counselling, Family and Systems Therapy", "Supervision, Coaching and Organisational Development" and "Mediation and Systemic Conflict Management".
