The Hydrogen further education programme for subjects and managers has won third place in the NordWest Awards 2024 organised by the Northwest Metropolitan Region. The competition honours social commitment, a good idea, initiatives or projects that support people in the Northwest in coping with social and economic transformations. The awards were presented on 26 August in Wilhelmshaven, with third place being endowed with 1,500 euros.
The part-time H2 further education programme is offered by the C3L - Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg together with Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES as a scientific partner. Participants are prepared for the complex challenges of the hydrogen economy in a research and practice-oriented manner. The further education programme is aimed at employees in companies and public institutions who decide on or support H2 projects. The part-time programme concludes with an internationally recognised CAS certificate (Certificate of Advanced Studies) and the award of the title "Hydrogen Energy Expert".
