Prof Dr Heinke Röbken has been the new Director of the C3L since the beginning of April. She succeeds Prof Dr Olaf Zawacki-Richter, who is no longer available as designated Dean of School I. Zawacki-Richter will remain a member of the Board of Directors and will be responsible for the areas of Open University and Digitalisation, while Röbken will continue to be responsible for Teaching and Programme Development.

At the C3L Centre Assembly, which took place online on 22 March, the Centre Council was newly elected. Prof. Dr Heinke Röbken, Prof. Dr Karin Rebmann, Prof. Dr Olaf Zawacki-Richter, Prof. Dr Karsten Speck, Prof. Dr Dirk Loerwald and Prof. Dr Clemens Hillenbrand were elected to represent the university lecturers, while Nadine Dembski and Uda Lübben were elected to represent the academic staff. Representatives of the MTV employees are Christian Schöne and Dr Joachim Stöter. The students are represented by Stefan Westerholt. The Centre Council advises the Board of Directors on the strategic development of the C3L and the integration of advanced scientific training into the university as a whole.
