Leadership – digital and future-oriented
Leading in the age of Slack and Zoom
Information and the knowledge of employees are the central resources of organisations and companies. Good leadership and adequate organisational structures are fundamental to harnessing them. The rapid digitalisation of the world of work poses new challenges for managers, particularly in knowledge-intensive areas. The skills training provides food for thought on how successful principles such as self-organisation, networking, openness, transparency and direct feedback can be implemented in practice. It teaches how managers can lead in an agile manner and orientate themselves towards the needs of knowledge workers.
When the skills training programme begins, the learning materials will be made available via our learning platform, C3LLO, where they can be viewed at any time. The content of the learning materials forms the (knowledge) basis for the workshop, which takes place at the University of Oldenburg on the C3L campus. Following the workshop, a transfer task must be completed. The online phases before and after the workshop (input and transfer) are designed to be asynchronous, i.e. participants can organise their time freely within the given framework. For reading the learning materials, participating in the workshop and successfully completing the transfer task, you should estimate a total workload of around 60 hours, most of which can be flexibly distributed over the six-week period.
