cybersecurity law
Threat situations, institutions and regulatory levels
Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important in both companies and public authorities. In view of increasing networking and the simultaneous rise in global conflicts, the risk of cyber security incidents is increasing. These developments have been taken up in regulatory projects at national and EU level, resulting in a complex regulatory structure that regulates cybersecurity horizontally and sectorally, as well as nationally and nationally. This results in overlaps with the applicable data protection regulations and (product) liability regulations.
The module is dedicated to the current threat situations as well as the national and European institutions in the field of cybersecurity (ENISA, BSI) and presents the applicable regulations (in particular NIS-2 Directive, CER Directive, CSR, CRA, BSIG).
