Two probes are available for this NMR spectrometer. The BBI probe is permanently fitted.

- 1H and 1H detected 2D spectra e. g. 1HX-HMQC and -HMBC are more sensitive than those at the BBO probe.
- Heteronuclei (X) are less sensitive than those at the BBO probe.

Unfortunately, 2D experiments no longer work with this probe. Due to its age, it cannot be repaired. 1D experiments are still possible.
