Our paper "Understanding and Measuring Inter-Process Code Injection in Windows Malware" got accepted for publication at SecureComm 2023! In the paper, we describe an in-depth analysis and classification of code-injection techniques, as well as a system for gathering empirical evidence of the occurrence and distribution of code-injection in Windows malware. The evaluation of the collected evidence provides interesting insights into the behavior of current malware and emerging trends.

Welcome to the Safety-Security-Interaction Group!
The Safety-Security-Interaction group is concerned with the development of theoretically sound technologies for maintaining the security of IT systems in the context of safety-critical systems and the Internet of Things. The main emphasis lies on developing security solutions tailored to the context-specific conditions in safety-critical systems, thereby giving special importance to studying the interaction between the security and the safety of the systems to be protected.
