The autumn meeting of the Supercomputing Working Group will take place on 28 and 29 September 2023 at the University of Oldenburg. Further information and a preliminary programme can be found on these pages. Further contributions can be submitted to the speaker team. Some contributions and topic requests are still in the queue:

• Cluster Interconnects
• User lifecycle (automation of logins/logouts etc.) & user communication
• Job efficiency
• Changing the way users work; interactive, Jupyterlab, data-intensive (data staging)

Contributions on these and other topics or suggestions for contributors to be contacted by the speaker team are welcome.

In autumn 2023, the speaker elections for the Supercomputing working group will be held again. The current team of speakers will be accepting nominations and proposals. Following the example of other working groups at the ZKI, we recommend the election of one spokesperson and two deputies. We are also available for a discussion to explain the tasks of a working group spokesperson or deputy to potential candidates.
