The Supercomputing Working Group’s autumn meeting will take place on 28 and 29 September 2023 at the University of Oldenburg. Further information and a provisional programme can be found on these pages. Further contributions are welcome and can be submitted to the organising team. A number of contributions and topic proposals are still pending:

• Cluster interconnects
• User lifecycle (automation of logins and logouts, etc.) & user communication
• Job efficiency
• Changes in user working practices; interactive, JupyterLab, data-intensive (data staging)

We welcome proposals for presentations on these and other topics, or suggestions for presenters whom the speaking team should contact.

Elections for the Supercomputing Working Group are due to take place again in autumn 2023. The current team of spokespersons is accepting nominations and proposals. Following the example of other working groups at the ZKI, we recommend electing one spokesperson and two deputies. We are also happy to discuss the role of working group spokesperson or deputy spokesperson with anyone who might be interested.
