Mediranger is a project of the student selection association "stav": This programme allows prospective students to calculate their chances of applying to the various universities based on data from the previous winter semester.

Application and admission
Application and admission for the first semester of the model degree programme in Human Medicine is only possible in the winter semester via the Foundation for University Admissions: Please note the deadlines stated there.

The admission procedure for the model degree programme in Human Medicine is coordinated by the Foundation for University Admissions. The number of study places in the quotas (after deduction of the preliminary quotas) is distributed as follows:

Please note: There will be no on-site selection procedure for admission to the Human Medicine degree programme for winter semester 2022/23.
Criteria for the AdH quota
In the AdH quota (60 per cent of the places remaining after deduction of the preliminary quotas), two groups (AdH-1 and AdH-2) are formed in which the criteria grade of the HZB, TMS result and vocational training/ service are weighted in the following proportions:

- Services/volunteer work at THW (at least 2 years)
- FSJ (from at least 11 completed months) in the medical field
- FÖJ (at least 11 completed months)
- International Youth Volunteer Service (from at least 11 completed months) in the medical field
- Federal Voluntary Service (from at least 11 completed months) in the medical field
- Development volunteer service Weltwärts (from at least 11 completed months) in the medical field
- European Voluntary Service (at least 11 completed months) in the medical field

Rural doctor quota
Applications for the Landarzt quota are not made via the university or the Foundation for University Admissions. Please apply to the Niedersächsischer Zweckverband zur Approbationserteilung on the following website:
