Credits and examinations
Under certain conditions, it is also possible for guest students to take part in module examinations/partial module examinations from the university's range of courses and receive a certificate for these credits.
The credit points (CP) achieved could, for example, be credited towards a later degree programme. The examination regulations in Oldenburg stipulate that the credit points earned as part of a guest student programme can be credited to a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme to a certain extent. We cannot give a generalised answer as to whether this also applies to other universities. We recommend that you make contact with the relevant university as a precaution.
Examination fees
For participation in module examinations/partial module examinations, an examination fee of EUR 25 per credit point is charged in addition to the guest lecture fees. This fee is due after application and receipt of the corresponding invoice. The examination fee must also be paid in the event of failing or not taking the examination. In the event of prior cancellation of the examination, we will retain an administration fee of €45.00.
Prerequisites
A separate, written proposal is required for participation in the examination, which must be submitted to the C3L Guest Study Programme Department 4 weeks before the examination date if possible (see left column). This procedure checks whether the following requirements are met:
- Formal registration as a guest auditor
- Registered guest student in the courses relevant to the examination module
- Free capacities of the degree programme
- The framework conditions of the degree programme must permit this examination option
- The approval of the module coordinator and/or the lecturer/examiner must be available (signature required on proposal)
- An additional examination fee of EUR 25 per credit point (CP) must have been paid
