The Department of Medical Physics is taking part in the Day of Physics on Wednesday 3 November 2010 with an information stand on the Ringebene in Wechloy. There, pupils and teachers as well as other interested parties can familiarise themselves with the field of hearing research. Between 9.15 a.m. and 3 p.m. there will be a variety of acoustic demonstrations and guided tours of 20 minutes each through the research laboratories. Scientific staff and doctoral students from the Department of Medical Physics will show how work is carried out in the hearing laboratory and how psychoacoustic measurements and an EEG work.
