"Ambient Assisted Living in Lower Saxony. What core competences do our skilled workers need?"
Conference on 29 October at the Jade University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg
Assistive technologies can improve the increasing demands of an ageing society for independent living for as long as possible. As a consequence, the training of developers of assistive technologies must be particularly orientated towards the various needs of users, carers and service providers. On the one hand, this concerns the requirements for improved basic technologies with a particular focus on their adaptability to the specific needs of users. On the other hand, this means that there is an increasing need for specialists with interdisciplinary training. The common goal of the presentations at this event will therefore be to identify the background and requirements for core competences of assistive technology specialists from various perspectives and thus sharpen their profile.
