On 3 September, the "Auditory Valley" invites interested visitors to an open day at The Haus des Hörens in Oldenburg. Between 12 noon and 6 p.m., there will be information on all aspects of hearing and the options available if your hearing no longer functions properly. Children and adults can test how well their hearing works free of charge. And that's not all - visitors will be able to experience the open day of Hannover Medical School and a tour of the Ideenexpo in Hanover via live broadcast. Numerous institutions in Oldenburg are part of Auditory Valley, including the Hörzentrum Oldenburg, the HörTech Center of Competence for Hearing Aid Systems, the Department of Medical Physics at the University of Oldenburg, the Jade University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg and the Project Group for Hearing, Speech and Audio Technology at the Fraunhofer IDMT.
