Well over 40 participants from Groningen and Oldenburg took part in the "Groningen-Oldenburg Auditory Seminar" at The Haus des Hörens on 13 April. The aim of the meeting was to deepen the intensive contacts between the universities of Groningen and Oldenburg, which had already been established years ago as part of the International Research Training Group "Neurosensory Science". Renowned scientists and numerous students from Groningen and Oldenburg presented their current research in the field of hearing in lectures and poster presentations. Topics included psychoacoustics, speech perception, speech processing, neurophysiology, biophysics, functional magnetic resonance imaging and other objective measurement methods in hearing research.
