Whether improving hearing diagnostics, developing new algorithms for the further development of hearing systems or researching pioneering technologies - the renowned hearing researchers in Oldenburg are working flat out to significantly improve the communication situation of people with hearing loss. In his lecture, Prof Dr Dr Birger Kollmeier will show exciting phenomena of the complex human hearing system and present the latest research questions and results from the Hearing4all cluster of excellence.
Anyone who wants to find out how well their own hearing works has the opportunity to take a screening test before the lecture (16:00-17:00). The procedure does not replace a medical diagnosis, but tests your hearing ability in an everyday situation and can therefore give you an indication of how your hearing is doing.
