Individual instrumental or vocal tuition takes place for almost the entire duration of the degree programme. A special feature of this is the great freedom of choice: students at the Institute of Music can take lessons according to their strengths and needs, can continue what they are familiar with and start something new, depending on their course of study and study goals.

Here, students work across styles, genres and disciplines on artistic and musical projects that radiate far beyond the university campus and help shape the cultural life of the city and region of Oldenburg.
