Bringing designers and product developers together with potential users of their products in a creative atmosphere: That is the aim of the first prototype party at the university. Students and young scientists are also invited to get direct feedback for their product ideas.
At the prototype party, founders and start-ups are given the opportunity to present their prototypes - whether products or services - to a wide audience. The guests can give their feedback on the new ideas directly. The University's Start-up and Innovation Centre (GIZ) is hosting the three-hour event together with the Prototype Party team from Hanover on Friday, 25 September.
By bringing together professional product developers and enthusiasts in one place, the prototype party serves to close the gap between the initial realisation of ideas on the one hand and extensive product testing and market research on the other. The feedback from guests provides new impetus for the further development of products and services. Co-operation between the participants can also lead to ideas being realised more quickly.
During the three-hour event, a maximum of ten prototypes are presented in short three-minute presentations. The guests then learn details about the prototypes, test them and provide feedback and realisation tips. There will also be time for more in-depth discussions.
In addition to product developers and designers from start-ups, universities and companies, students with product ideas or prototypes and inventors, business angels, networkers and potential investors can also register. The event starts at 6.30 pm in the university's lecture theatre centre.
