The University said farewell to more than 130 graduates of School I - School of Educational and Social Sciences at a ceremony today. After being welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Dr Manfred Wittrock, the graduates of the Bachelor's, Master's, Diplom and Magister degree programmes as well as the doctoral and post-doctoral graduates received their certificates. The Oldenburg educational scientist Prof Dr Olaf Zawacki-Richter gave the keynote speech "Lifelong learning at the university".
As part of the ceremony, the School honoured the following students for their outstanding theses: Katja Erdmann (Bachelor's thesis, Education), Karoline Hoffmann (Diplom thesis, Intercultural Education), Christina Meinert (Bachelor's thesis, Interdisciplinary Subject Education/German Studies), Yvonne Kickhäfer (Bachelor's thesis, Special Education/German Studies), Manuel Schiffelbein (Bachelor's thesis, Special Education/Music), David Sprenger (Bachelor's thesis, Special Education/Music), Miriam Thomanek (Special Education/Elementary Maths), Simone da-Rosa (Master's thesis, Sociology).
