Last lecture in the KinderUni spring semester on 18 March Writing a manual on how to treat our planet - of course, this is not possible during the one-hour KinderUni lecture "Just a short time to save the world ...", which will be given by economist Prof. Dr Niko Paech on 18 March. But the eight to twelve-year-old KinderUni students will know what "sustainable" means and that everyone can do something for the world after this exciting excursion into science. The lecture begins at 4.30 pm. Admission to the lecture theatre centre (A14) on the Haarentor campus is from 4.00 pm. Tickets (2.50 euros) are available via the KinderUni website(www.kinderuni-oldenburg.de) as well as at the offices of the Nordwest-Zeitung and all advance booking offices of Nordwest Ticket GmbH. Adults do not need an admission ticket - they are not allowed in the lecture theatre. They can follow the lectures on a screen in the foyer of the lecture theatre centre. The Malteser Hilfsdienst will provide security on site. Anyone who would like to familiarise themselves with the topic of the lecture now has the opportunity to do so in the children's library at the PFL and all Oldenburg district libraries. Special book tables have been set up here. The media partners of the KinderUniversität Oldenburg are the Nordwest-Zeitung, NDR 1 Niedersachsen and Radio Bremen Vier. The project is supported by Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg (LzO), the EWE Foundation, Nordmetall and the business association "Der Kleine Kreis e.V.".
