Doctoral Days
Together with partners, the Graduate School OLTECH organises special events for doctoral researchers on interdisciplinary and subject-specific topics.
These include the PhD Days of the University of Oldenburg, organised by the two graduate schools 3GO and OLTECH as well as the Graduate Academy, on overarching topics relevant to doctoral studies.
Interdisciplinary and subject-specific doctoral days or symposia are supported by partners, and we enable doctoral researchers at the University of Oldenburg to participate in events by external partners, e.g. the PhD Day of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

OLTECH Doctoral Day – By Doctoral Researchers, For Doctoral Researchers
The OLTECH Doctoral Day is an interdisciplinary exchange event that gives doctoral researchers the opportunity to present their research in various formats—such as short talks, posters, and discussion sessions—to peers from different fields.
Organised by doctoral researchers and supported by the OLTECH office and coordinators of participating programmes, the day is truly “by researchers, for researchers.” It serves as a platform to share ideas, discuss methodological challenges, reflect on the doctoral journey, and build a vibrant, cross-disciplinary network.
More than just research – a space for connection, inspiration, and community.
More information will follow shortly.
