Further education programme to strengthen change and process competence at universities in Lower Saxony

The Centre of Excellence PEChange is launching a practical training programme aimed at networking and exchange to strengthen change and process competence at universities in Lower Saxony. It is aimed at people who are actively involved in change projects in university administration and accompany changes in the context of digitalisation not only on a technical level, but especially on a communicative and participatory level. Participants in the further education programme work together to develop sound skills and learn about tools for managing resistance, guiding colleagues through change and successfully shaping digital transformations.

The programme combines input, reflection and peer counselling in a fixed group, thus combining theory and practice. It encourages participants to exchange ideas and is made up of five modules:

  1. Change & process expertise - understanding the dynamics of change in digital transformation
  2. Communicating change effectively - designing strategic digitalisation projects
  3. Collegial case counselling - practising, applying and building peer groups
  4. Peer group work on your own initiative - independent application of the learned formats
  5. Moderated fresh-up - peer case counselling and supervision

The first round of the training programme will start in November 2026. Each university in the HdN network can register one person for the first round.
