Sarah Maria Falke from the Ultrafast Nano-Optics working group was honoured for her dissertation with the VDI's "Green Photonics" prize for the best dissertation of 2013 at this year's Hannover Messe.

In her dissertation, Ms Falke investigated the energy conversion of light into electricity in organic solar cells on a time scale of a few femtoseconds.
