Under the motto "Gemeinsam Kurs auf Zukunft und Vielfalt genommen", the city of Lübeck became the epicenter of intercultural and intellectual exchange for 351 DAAD scholarship holders, who served as "Mutmacher": a reminder that academic exchange is a driver of dialogue and peace in times of global uncertainty.

Through keynote speeches and parallel sessions, our scholar students explored relevant topics that define the challenges of the 21st century: from green hydrogen diplomacy and marine sustainability, to artificial intelligence innovations applied to astronomy and new perspectives on neurodiversity. Prof. Dr. Monique Janneck highlighted the role of technology in society, emphasizing that progress is not only technical but deeply human. She emphasized that each of us has the power to 'change the world, one bit at a time', and that such progress must be grounded in ethical responsibility and sustainability, including awareness of the environmental impact of systems like Artificial Intelligence.

This meeting allowed participants to feel part of an 'international crew' united by a common goal, while reaffirming that science knows no borders.
