Interpretation workshop

Qualitative research is a key approach in health and healthcare research. It provides in-depth insights into human experiences, attitudes, decision-making processes and the everyday realities of health and illness. It creates space to understand the subjective perspectives of patients, relatives, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the healthcare system.

The Mixed-Methods Laboratory’s Interpretation Workshop offers an interdisciplinary forum for researchers engaged in health-related care issues through qualitative social research. Researchers with interests in purely qualitative research approaches as well as those incorporating qualitative strands into mixed-methods studies are welcome.

The central aim is the collaborative analysis and interpretation of qualitative research. The focus is on an in-depth examination of research questions, theories, ethical considerations and practical implementation in the field. The workshop supports the entire research process: from the development of the research design and the conception of data collection tools, through the selection and reflection on methods of analysis (particularly reconstructive approaches), to the presentation and discussion of findings.

The workshop promotes professional skills, collegial exchange and a culture of critical and reflective research. It is a space for mutual support, brainstorming and in-depth discussion.

Participation: Those interested in the Interpretation Workshop should commit to participating for at least one semester. This is intended to facilitate mutual exchange and the acquisition of new insights. If you are interested, please contact .
