In the DFG Research Training Group "Self-Making. Practices of Subjectivation through Historical and Interdisciplinary Perspectives" young scientist examine the subject or the self-making of men.

In the teaching/learning laboratory "Villa GeistReich" of the Humanities students and pupils learn how to do research.

On the occasion of the Reformation anniversary in 2017 the project "Freiheitsraum Reformation" brings cultural, scientific and church institutions together to develop new perspectives on the complex topic of Reformation.
