Teaching and examinations
General information
The Department of Sport and Education, with its areas of sport pedagogy/sport didactics and the theory and practice of sports, is responsible for a large number of modules in the various degree programmes in which the subject of sport/sport science can be studied at the University of Oldenburg.
The area of "Theory and Practice of Sports" forms a further elementary part of the sports degree programme during both the Bachelor's and Master's phases.
In the basic modules spo155 "Learning and Analysing" and spo165 "Games, Playing" in the Bachelor's degree, theory seminars are also offered to accompany the practical training. In the practical seminars of the advanced modules spo520 "School Sport I" and spo530 "School Sport II", the respective theoretical components are taught in theory seminars and integrated into the practical seminars. In the Master of Education for Special Needs Education (spo560 "Developmental Support in Childhood and Adolescence") and Grammar School / Business Education (spo760 "School Sport Specialisation"), in-depth, practical sports components are taught.
Exercise courses are offered for most of the practical sports courses. These exercises are led by students and enable an intensive examination of the respective sport and targeted preparation for the final practical examination.
This page is still under construction. Further information on the modules will follow shortly.
