A
General School Placement (ASP)
A prerequisite for the ASP is the successful completion of the modules wir170 and pb023. Registration for the ASP takes place via the DIZ. The ASP may also be undertaken outside Lower Saxony. However, this is subject to the student establishing contact with the school themselves. The DIZ must then be notified of the new placement location.

Work placement (prx104)
An external achievement completed before or during your studies may, upon proposal, be recognised as the training module prx104 ‘Work Placement’ if:
1.) the applicant has completed a commercial and administrative apprenticeship in a state-recognised vocational occupation, or
2.) has completed a full-time school-based commercial and administrative vocational training programme, or
3.) a full-time commercial and administrative work placement of at least six weeks’ duration has been completed and a placement report is submitted detailing the working methods and structure of the host organisation as well as the tasks performed.

Approval of empirical research
For empirical research involving pupils, teachers and the school management, written approval from the Lower Saxony State School Authority is generally required. Further information can be found here.

Module structure for pb026
pb026 is a module spread over two semesters and cannot be completed within a single semester. The module consists of a lecture and a seminar. Students must first attend the module’s lecture; the corresponding seminar is then attended in the following semester.
Module structure pb029
pb029 is a module spread over two semesters and cannot be completed within a single semester; consequently, only one seminar may be taken in each of the summer and winter semesters. Students may start the module in either the summer or winter semester.
Module structure wir181/wir182
wir181/wir182 is usually completed within a single semester. Students must choose either the ‘Business’ specialisation (wir181) or the ‘School’ specialisation (wir182). It is not possible to combine the ‘Business’ and ‘School’ specialisations.

is responsible for study counselling for the double-subject Bachelor’s degree (Vocational Education and Training).

Pre-service training, recruitment dates
The induction dates for the teacher training programme leading to a teaching post at vocational schools in Lower Saxony are usually 1 May and 1 November each year. Further information can be found here.

Bringing forward Master’s modules
Bachelor’s students who wish to take a Master’s module from Business Education or Business Didactics in advance should register for the Master’s module on a provisional basis during the registration period open to them (see Stud.IP), provided that seminar places are still available. By the start of the course, a proposal to take Master’s modules early must then be submitted to Ms Rebmann, accompanied by a current transcript of records and a screenshot confirming successful enrolment in the relevant module. This approved proposal must then be presented to the lecturer during the first session of the module.
Resit examinations
For courses wir170 and pb023, the following dates apply for resit examinations:
pb023: At the end of the summer semester, in the third week after the end of lectures.
wir170: The first resit is usually held at the start of the winter semester during orientation week. The second resit is at the end of the winter semester, in the third week after the end of lectures.
