Organisation
The programme uses the blended learning format. This means that online self-study phases alternate with attendance phases, web seminars and case-related group work. This allows the greatest possible freedom for the individual organisation of further education and compatibility with family and academic appointments.
In self-study, which is independent of time and location, you will acquire basic knowledge in areas such as social economy structures, human resources, finance, law, corporate culture, quality management and public relations through access to programme-specific study material, current research articles and an online learning platform (C3LLO) set up especially for the programme. They work on online assignments and meet in case-related group work.
The attendance phases and web seminars are designed by recognised experts to be interactive, practical and with a high proportion of practical exercises. By working on a case study in the areas of elderly care, youth welfare, day care centres or addiction/rehabilitation, the transfer of knowledge and research into academic appointments is ensured.
After completing all seminars, participants present the results of their case study work at a final colloquium. In order to obtain a university certificate, a written examination is required at the end of the programme.
