Company valuation and financing
Analyse the net assets, financial position and results of operations of companies
The module deals with common methods of company valuation and their theoretical foundations. The focus is on the discussion of capital value-based valuation methods, the forecast of future payment surpluses and the determination of risk-adjusted capital costs using capital market models. It also discusses the conditions under which financing and distribution decisions of companies affect the company value and the resulting recommendations for action.
The module is aimed at the self-employed and employees in the financial sector. It can be taken as certified further education or as part of the part-time degree programme Risk Management and Financial Analysis. The university certificate is fully recognised for the degree course. This means you can start your studies without enrolment!
