Risk management and regulation
Become fit and proper!
The event will focus on the regulation of banks, insurance companies and financial services in a national and international context. In particular, the Basel III regulations and the Solvency II Directive, their national implementation (e.g. MaRisk BA and MaGo) and the effects of regulatory requirements on bank and insurance company risk management and corporate management (e.g. in relation to risk-bearing capacity, risk models, risk culture, reporting obligations or competences (fit and proper)) are dealt with. As part of the internet-based self-study programme, students work independently or in small groups on a selected regulatory issue and can present their results in the second attendance phase.
The module is aimed in particular at specialists from banks, insurance companies and financial service providers who wish to qualify to implement the regulatory framework in corporate practice.
It can be taken as certified further education or as part of the part-time degree programme Risk Management and Financial Analysis. The university certificate is fully recognised for the degree course. So you can start your studies without enrolment!
