Sustainability through innovation and entrepreneurship

Shaping sustainability in an entrepreneurial way

In this module, you will learn about and categorise the scientific foundations of the entrepreneurial sustainability discourse. The module teaches you how you can find solutions to global challenges by developing sustainable business models. The focus is primarily on start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises. With your newly acquired expertise, you will know what is important when it comes to managing, evaluating and reporting on sustainability. Innovations are seen as a solution to the current crises, but can themselves exacerbate economic, social and environmental challenges. You will become familiar with the concept of impact measurement and will be able to record, analyse and document the effects of innovations and, with your newly acquired skills, you will be able to act confidently in this field of tension.
