Clean-up work
Over time, it may be necessary to make changes to content.
In the event of changes to the technical framework conditions, we usually already take care of the necessary changes. In individual cases, however, it is necessary to make editorial improvements or at least review the content.
It can also happen over time that content is no longer up to date in terms of form or content and should be revised in terms of user-friendliness, accessibility, copyright, data protection, search engine optimisation, etc.
Please check whether any of the content you maintain is affected. On this page, we point out a few points and introduce tools. However, this does not replace the periodic manual checking of content.

Contents to be edited
- Dataprotection: Form responses must be deleted when they are no longer required.
- Links to (www.)studium.uni-oldenburg.de. This website should no longer be linked to. Links to this website are displayed as errors during the link check.
- Faulty links: It may happen that the target page is no longer available. Faulty links can be found and corrected, see "Tools and aids" on this page, "Module: Check links".
- Content elements Stud.IP person with invalid user name: Due to people leaving, it can happen that these content elements refer to an invalid username. It can also happen that the person's status changes from public to non-public. These people can no longer be displayed (on public pages). These cases can be found in the editor interface ("TYPO3 backend"), in the "Todos" module (left column).
- The "Todos" module also describes some other content that should be edited. In each of the lists there is an info text that can be expanded and contains further explanations.
