You can apply to the Use & Access Committee of the MeDIC-UMO and the biobank structure of School V - School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Oldenburg for approval to use data and biomaterials from clinical routine for research purposes. The UAC reviews proposals submitted in accordance with the local usage regulations of the MeDIC-UMO, the local usage regulations of the Core Facility Biobank Structure or the overarching usage regulations for the exchange of patient data, biomaterials, analysis methods and routines within the framework of the Medical Informatics Initiative. Taking into account the decision of the Ethics Committee and data protection, the UAC carries out the technical and content-related review of the data utilisation applications. If the decision is favourable, data extraction or distributed analysis can then be initiated.
