Focus on connection
A sense of connection with oneself and with others is a fundamental building block of our health: strong social bonds not only promote general well-being and mental health, but can even prevent illness and improve the course of disease. At the same time, a strong connection with oneself improves emotional balance, promotes a positive approach to stress and pressure, and boosts self-esteem.
It is also beneficial for us as an organisation when people feel connected. Where employees experience meaningful relationships with their colleagues, trust, open communication and mutual support can flourish – and with them, a working environment in which good work is achieved more easily.
In our Workplace Health Management programme, the theme of connectedness will therefore be the focus in the second half of 2026. The programme series, featuring various talks, workshops and exercise sessions, is aimed at all staff in research and administration and will run from September to December. We hope you enjoy taking part, gain some exciting new insights and have stimulating discussions!
