Textbooks

Textbooks and atlases are mandatory for learning anatomy and histology. These are not only relevant for the subject of anatomy, but also for various clinical specialties, such as surgery, radiology, neurology, pathology, to name but a few. For better learning, we recommend buying the textbooks and atlases as print copies (anatomy textbooks and atlases are purchases for "medical life", almost every doctor keeps these books!), However, most of the textbooks presented are also accessible as e-books via the university library (link: https://uol.de/bis ).

In the caseof atlases and textbooks, it is also possible to use old editions, as little changes in the area of anatomy and histology. These editions are much cheaper than the new editions.

Please read the textbooks and atlases on a trial basis (e.g. in the CvO Unibuch bookshop right next to the university library). à Map of the University Library ). This is the best way to find out which anatomy, neuroanatomy or histology textbook and atlas you prefer.
