Media lab and technology lending
The lending library is available to all students of the Institute of Art and Visual Culture. The laboratory offers space for student working groups, seminar-related work as well as final and research projects.
Students, doctoral students and lecturers can engage in continuous and interdisciplinary exchange with each other, for example in the research and development of applied or scientific projects as well as the (online) documentation of research and qualification work, exhibitions and films, curatorial and web projects.
In the teaching-learning lab, workstations with the latest software are available for advanced design, research and documentation practice, enabling audiovisual media and internet research.
Borrowing the access card:
The media lab can be used at any time by students with an access card. The access cards can be issued by the student assistant on request and are valid for one semester. A deposit of 15 euros is taken on the access cards.

Towards the end of the lecture-free period, there will be further dates for borrowing and returning items. Please refer to the website or contact if you need to do so outside the specified times.
MediaLab and technology lending:
The student assistant is located in room A08 1-101a or A08 1-101b during opening hours.
In case of last-minute changes due to illness or other cancellations, please check the listserver.
Notes on lending
- The loan period is two weeks (longer periods by arrangement only!)
- The lending service is available to all students of the Institute of Art and Visual Culture.
- SD cards cannot be borrowed.
- You may also have to provide your own batteries.
