The Institute of Art and Visual Culture at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg offers the following degree programmes:
Bachelor:
- Bachelor Art and Media
- Bachelor Gender Studies (The interdisciplinary BA Gender Studies is assigned to the teaching unit "Art and Media" and is supervised by the AG Gender Studies and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Women's and Gender Studies/ZFG.)
Master:
- Master of Education Art (primary and secondary school, grammar school, special needs education)
- Master of Art and Media Studies
- Master Integrated Media (in co-operation with the Institute of Music)
- Master of Museum and Exhibition (in co-operation with the Institute of Material Culture and the Institute of History)
- Master of Cultural Analyses (in co-operation with the Institute of Material Culture and the Institute of Sport Science)
Doctorate:
- Doctoral degree programme in Cultural Gender Studies (The degree programme is being phased out; since 04/2020, new enrolment is no longer possible.)
