Announcements
Announcements can be created on the start page (under the "Overview" tab) of each event. The latest announcement always appears at the top.
Further information about announcements on Stud.IP can be found in the Stud.IP help.
What can I use "announcements" for in teaching?
- If there are changes to the event schedule at short notice or if an event is cancelled at short notice.
- Information on (external) events
- Information on new publications/videos related to the topic of the course
- Tip: Announcements created via the profile page can be integrated into all courses.
- Tip: Students can subscribe to the announcements and will be notified every time a new announcement is made. This can be activated via Profile → Settings → Notifications.
Schedule
The schedule provides students with an overview of courses for the entire semester.
You can find technical instructions for the schedule on Stud.IP in the Stud.IP Help.
How can the "flowchart" help me in my teaching?
- You can assign a specific topic to each event date.
- Folders can be created automaticallyfor each event date, which then appear under "Files".
- In the schedule, topics without a date can also be assignedas presentation topics , which can later be assigned to these groups under "Participants" when creating groups(video tutorial).
Information on
The "Information" plugin enables the insertion of information pages that can be freely designed and named. Teachers can set up and fill as many pages as they like according to their individual requirements. A page with a text editor opens for each entry.
The "Information" plugin must first be activated via the "Administration" tab.
How can I use the "Information" plugin?
- Freely customisable specification of literature (as an alternative to the "Literature" plugin)
- For any other additional information (links, protocols etc.)
- FAQs on the course
- Further sources for successful study (e.g. PSB, ZSKB learning workshop )
- Rules for communication and collaboration, netiquette
What options does the "Participants" area offer me?
You can send participants individual messages or circular emails (which are forwarded as emails).
You can create groups in which course participants can come together for group work. For example, each group can have its own file area and its own WordPress blog.
