ÄKHOM
ÄKHOM
As part of the BMBF-funded ÄKHOM study, we are working with our partners at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) to further develop a competency-based examination format.
To date, the third section of the medical examination, the oral State Examination at the end of the PJ, is a non-structured and non-validated examination, the organisation of which is largely left to the medical schools. It is therefore hardly possible to compare the medical competences of students from different universities based on the grades in this examination. With the further development of a competency-based examination format, we are creating a building block for the introduction of a national, standardised and structured clinical-practical examination with oral and practical components.
