I'm Annika Feldmann and I did my FÖJ here in 2024/25.

I was able to gain a lot of great experiences, such as ringing and tagging birds, analysing data, what scientific work involves and much, much more.

I was very well received by the working group and treated as an integral part of the group.

I can recommend the FÖJ here to anyone who enjoys being outdoors but is not afraid of working in an office. You don't need any previous knowledge about birds, but it is an advantage to have an interest in birds and to want to learn a lot about them. After all, your entire FÖJ will revolve around bird research.
