"zukunftsenergien nordwest" is the largest job and training fair for renewable energies and energy efficiency in Germany. Around 80 exhibitors will be providing information about job offers and career opportunities in this young and dynamic sector at Messe Bremen on 1 and 2 March.
It's a success story: the "zukunftsenergien nordwest" job and education fair was launched for the first time in 2010. Within a very short space of time, it has developed into Germany's largest job and training fair for renewable energies and energy efficiency. This year, around 80 exhibitors from the wind energy, solar, biogas and energy efficiency sectors will be coming to Hall 7 of the Bremen Exhibition Centre.
Visitors to "zukunftsenergien nordwest" can expect an extensive supporting programme: it includes industry workshops, presentations by HR managers on academic appointments and training courses on all aspects of job applications. Job boards with up to 500 job offers will provide information about vacancies. Excursions during the trade fair to plants and companies in the region offer concrete insights into the field of renewable energies.
A free application portfolio check will be offered for the first time this year. Visitors will also have the opportunity to have professional application photos taken.
There will also be a major evening lecture this year. The multi-award-winning journalist and author Dr Franz Alt will be speaking at "zukunftsenergien nordwest" on 1 March at 7.30 pm on the topic of "On the sunny side - why the energy transition is making us winners". As places for the lecture are limited, online registration on the trade fair website is required.
zukunftsenergien nordwest is organised by the university and ForWind. Federal Environment Minister Peter Altmaier is the patron. Admission to the exhibition is free. Some programme items require registration.
